Here and Now is the nineteenth studio album by American country music singer Kenny Chesney. It was released on May 1, 2020 via Blue Chair Records and Warner Records Nashville. The album includes the singles “Tip of My Tongue” and “Here and Now”.
Chesney announced the album’s title and track list in March 2020. At the time of the announcement, the project had already produced two singles: “Tip of My Tongue” and the title track. The album is Chesney’s second for Warner Records Nashville. Chesney co-produced the album with longtime producer Buddy Cannon. Of the songwriters chosen for the album, Chesney said that he wanted to “bring a lot of [his] favorite writers together” to tie into the album’s central theme of “how different people are around the world, yet how entirely similar they can be”.

Kenneth Arnold Chesney (born March 26, 1968) is an American country music singer, songwriter, and record producer. He has recorded 20 albums, all of which have been certified Gold or higher by the RIAA. He has also produced more than 40 Top 10 singles on the US Billboard Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts, 30 of which have reached number one. Many of these have also charted within the Top 40 of the US Billboard Hot 100, making him one of the most successful crossover country artists. He has sold over 30 million albums worldwide.
Chesney co-directed and produced a film for ESPN entitled The Boys of Fall. He has received six Academy of Country Music awards (including four consecutive Entertainer of the Year awards from 2005 to 2008), as well as nine awards from the Country Music Association. He is one of the most popular touring acts in country music, regularly selling out the venues in which he performs. The Country Music Association honored Chesney with the Entertainer of the Year award in 2004, 2006, 2007, and 2008. Other notable awards he received include the Academy of Country Music’s 1997 New Male Vocalist of the Year, 2002 Top Male Vocalist of the Year, and the Triple Crown Award in 2005. He was awarded his fourth consecutive Entertainer of the Year award from the Academy of Country Music on May 18, 2008.
Lari Michele White (born May 13, 1965 in Dunedin, Florida) is an American country music artist and actress. She first gained national attention in 1992 as a winner on You Can Be a Star, a talent competition which aired on The Nashville Network. A recording contract with RCA Records Nashville followed a year later, producing three studio albums, a greatest hits package, and several chart singles. A fourth studio album was released in 1998 on Lyric Street Records, followed by two more releases on White’s own label, Skinny White Girl. Overall, White has charted twelve times on the Billboard country music charts, with three of her singles having reached Top Ten: “That’s My Baby” and “That’s How You Know (When You’re In Love)” at No. 10, and “Now I Know” at No. 5.
