Great Soul Performances with Bobby Jay (Motown Remakes) 7pm ET #gsp

motownI hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving Day Thursday, and now back to the music. This evening on “Great Soul Performances” we will once again present “Motown Remakes.” It’s always fun hearing the Motown catalog reinterpreted by the Motown acts themselves and by others. Also great to hear Pop and R&B songs remade by Motown artists. So join me at 7PM ET, 6PM CT, 5PM MT & 4PM PT for “Motown Remakes.” Next week we salute the fantastic “Blue-Eyed Soul” artists. All for you on RadioMaxMusic.com.

simplyredSimply Red were an English soul band that sold more than 50 million albums over a 25-year career. Their style drew upon influences ranging from blue-eyed soul, New Romantic, and rock to reggae and jazz. From their early days, the main driving force behind the band was singer Mick Hucknall, who, by the time the band was disbanded in 2010, was the only original member left. At the 1992 and 1993 Brit Awards they received the award for Best British Group. (Source: Wikipedia)
