Sure! and several others. It kicks of at 5PM ET, 4PM CT, 3PM MT & 2PM PT. BTW, this will be the last Sunday airing in this time period. Starting in August, “Great Soul Performances 2: The 80’s,” will be heard on Sunday’s at 7PM ET, with no encores. Beginning in August, on Monday’s, the program can be heard “On Demand.” Likewise, this evening at 7PM, the Saturday “Great Soul Performances” will have its last Sunday encore. It will still be heard on Saturdays at 7PM eastern time, with no encores. It too, will be available to be heard, beginning on Monday’s “On Demand.” All this will begin in August, and we’ll tell you more about these changes as time goes on. bobbyjayrmThe 4th of July weekend continues, and later this afternoon I’ll be joining you for “Great Soul Performances 2: The 80’s” with music from: Shalamar, Force MD’S, Al B. Sure!, Gregory Abbott, AWB, Deniece Williams, Regina Belle, Richard “Dimples” Fields, The Gap Band, Michael Jackson and many others. The get-together starts at 5PM ET, 4PM CT, 3PM MT and 2PM PT. I think you’ll enjoy it. BTW, next Saturday, July 12th on the original “G.S.P.,” the whole show will be dedicated to the late Bobby Womack. You’ll Bobby’s solo hits, his collaborations, his early forays into the recording studio with his mentor Sam Cooke, cutting tracks with the Womack Brothers, a/k/a the Valentinos and even Bobby “live in concert.” I think he deserves this tribute. Bobby Womack was a giant in our business. So jot it down and check it out next Saturday.
